It is June. The month when nature is at full strength and the world around us changes almost every day. The mornings are warm, the air carries the scent of linden trees, and the song of swifts can be heard on the way to the showroom. Everything feels more alive than it did a few weeks ago.

Every Tuesday is different
The Tuesdays in June had a different rhythm each time.. Sometimes silence and focused work prevailed; at other times, the showroom came alive with visitors and conversations. When new goods arrive, so does the search for their place in the showroom. The individual products are arranged so that they naturally complement the other objects and remain in harmony with them.
Caring for steel
Regular showroom care also includes maintaining tools made of carbon steel. This material reacts to its surroundings even when the tool is merely on display. From time to time, the steel therefore needs to be cleaned and treated with a thin layer of camellia oil. A simple task that helps preserve both its properties and its appearance.
Handwritten note
Every now and then, an order includes a request for a handwritten note. This time, a card with a personal message for the recipient travelled along with the package.
Labels and strings
A new shipment of Le Laboureur work shirts also meant labelling the individual pieces. Measuring the string, attaching the information tags, and completing the preparations before display. Small tasks that are part of every shirt's journey to the showroom.
Same day, different rhythm
Every day in the showroom has its own rhythm. Sometimes the bustle of visitors and conversations prevails; at other times, the space is quieter and offers time to restock goods, pack orders, or care for the displayed tools. Many activities are repeated, but their order and pace change. So no day is ever quite the same.
A little reflection
Last time, we asked which part of the day is yours. Today, a different question comes to mind. Which small activities create its rhythm? Perhaps they are precisely the ones we give the least attention to during the day.
